The Beasts are Back!
Maybe you were wondering what would happen to Beasts of Balance after Sensible Object was acquired by Niantic last year. Maybe you didn't know anything changed.
Either way, we know you were an early backer of Beasts of Balance and we have some big news (if you haven't already heard).
Modern Games has acquired Beasts of Balance!
We acquired BoB because we love building precarious stacks of our favorite Beasts like Moby Brick and Chameleon, just like you. And who doesn't love discovering Gilded Bulette out in the wild?
We are huge fans of what Alex and the Sensible Object team created. We love this game as much as all of you and want to work with you to carry on what we all love about it.
What this means.
For starters, the Sensible Object Kickstarter account will be rebranded Modern Games and we will publish our game projects (starting with a new analog tabletop game this fall) from this same account.
Moving forward, we will provide support, app updates to ensure ongoing compatibility with iOS/Android and there are plans underway for new Beasts + new ways to play in this beautiful, vibrant world. We'll be asking for your thoughts on the future soon!
